Low Carbon Living and Low Carbon Ventilation (2011.01.03)

2011-06-23

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of Earth’s near surface air and oceans since mid-20th century and this situation continues.  According to the 2007 Fourth Assessment Report by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), global surface temperature increased 0.74 ± 0.18 °C (1.33 ± 0.32 °F) during the 20th century. The temperature increase is caused by increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases, which result from human activities of buring of fossil fuel and deforestation……. The deadly effects of global warming includes polar ice caps melting, increased probability and intensity of droughts and heat waves, warmer waters and hurricanes, spread of disease, floods, ecosystems change, etc…
Low carbon living and reducing of carbon footprint are widely discussed and promoted in recent decades ………
